passion and experience in every dish

Owner and Chef, Lui Arango, developed a passion for cooking at a young age. His cooking is a reflection of his heritage. Being born in Colombia, South America and arriving in Texas at the age of 12, the Caribbean is evident in everything he does. Lui's culinary style "Latinizes" American food and "Americanizes" Latin food.

Lui received his training from Rosewood, a luxury hotel corporation. He has created menus for multiple dining venues, taken part in several TV appearances as guest chef, and also teaches cooking classes. His passion for cooking is evident with every meal he prepares

With over 32 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Lui has used his talents to create a truly unique restaurant in the heart of Pass-a-grille.
